I had x432r before and it ran fine but when I tried to open DeSmuME_VS2015_x64_release.exe in the downloaded folder I get 2 error messages popping up after another. I just tested out a couple games at 3x and it looks really really good. Test it in the game where you can move around and it should be working.

Not sure if this is a dumb question, but what battle network game is this? The last "stable" build of Desmume was released almost 2 years ago. EDIT : Basically I want stable gameplay at 60 fps with latest Desmume X432R, and I want filter 2xSal to be enabled on Hi-Res 384p. It works fine and 3x and in 4x with fast forward it runs at 120 but if I turn fastforward off it's suddenly stuck in the 43-44fps range no matter what. So I went there again and when I downloaded the file, the file was corrupted/invalid so I did a google search to their website but I may have downloaded from a fraudulent site as their download from a sourceforge mirror was also invalid. DS games look like muddy smudgey messes. Too much of a performance hit for me to use though, just going to 2x halves my fps even with the dynamic recompiler. It does take quite a bit to push. This isn't true at all, it's not faster at all (would love to see your benchmarks and be proven wrong) and has less HD scaling options then X432R does.
This is a real milestone. Recently, Desmume X432R was the most prominent one, allowing users to increase the native resolution to 4x. Sped up video by 400%. No you're not crazy, I had to limit this to 15/60 fps and speed up in postprocessing. Stick with X432R for now, Desmume still isn't up to snuff. *Crop and stretch video to 16:9. x432r is no longer needed at all. I don't have an account there. X432r adds nothing to accuracy.

Just recently I got a new computer and decided to get a DS emulator to play FE12 and the last time I downloaded DeSmuMe I downloaded from EmuParadise.
