Transitioning off the National Football League (NFL) playing field in 2006, Brewer pursued a career on Wall Street as an Investment Advisor with Merrill Lynch’s Private Client Group where he raised over $20mm in assets under management (AUM) in his first year as an investment advisor, ranking in the top one percentile in his class across the firm. He is the Founder and Executive Director of The Jack Brewer Foundation (JBF Worldwide https://thejackbrewerfoundation.com), a 501(c)(3) which since 2006 has been using its various programs and global initiatives to offer educational opportunities and economic development to underprivileged individuals around the world, using sport as a catalyst.
Currently Brewer serves as a professor at the Gabelli Business School at Fordham University where he leads the newly launch Executive MBA Program for Athletes and Artist (2019). “Gospel reconciliation is at the core of the racial healing we need—as a nation and across the globe,” he says.
