Doing some research, there was not a definite answer but they all mention that the internals are the same between both. The speed decreases as I go down to the next level. Note: The antennas for the UAP-AC-M were angled at 45° to generate the plots as shown in the images above. That has worked perfectly for me in my situation. I’d use the FlexHD on a wall or table in the center of an area if possible.

UAP-AC-M-Pro vs. FlexHD? Omni range is more important to me than speed for this particular application.

I very much prefer the form factor of the FlexHD as the Mesh Pro seems way too big, but I can't find any specs on the FlexHD so not sure where to go with this.

The UWB-XG models do not operate on the 2.4GHz band. And remember, higher power doesn't equal better throughput. Comparing the specs, it looks like the noticeable difference is the Antenna Gain at 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. Use the Design Center to design your UniFi Network using the most suitable products. I configured them to 5ghz VHT80 with medium signal strength so that my wireless devices roam easily and I get fast speeds and great signal strength anywhere I go.

The recommendation I found for the nanoHD is one per floor. share. There’s a ceiling mount kit for the flex that hides a portion of it in the ceiling, I was considering that for our upstairs, but the flex starts more expensive than the Nano, and the ceiling kits another $15-$20; so I will likely just get the Nano.
